* A 10 mm socket wrench

* A flat-head screwdriver
* A Phillips-head screwdriver
Once you have gathered the necessary tools, you can begin the process of removing the transmission:
1. Park your car on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Engage the parking brake.
3. Open the hood and remove the battery.
4. Disconnect the ground wire from the battery terminal.
5. Remove the air filter housing.
6. Disconnect the throttle cable from the throttle body.
7. Disconnect the clutch cable from the clutch fork.
8. Remove the starter motor.
9. Remove the flywheel cover.
10. Remove the bolts that hold the transmission to the engine.
11. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry the transmission away from the engine.
12. Carefully lower the transmission to the ground.
