1. Disconnect the battery
2. Remove the engine cover
3. Locate the injectors (they are located on the top of the engine, near the back)
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the injectors
5. Remove the fuel lines from the injectors
6. Use a 17mm wrench to loosen the injector bolts
7. Remove the injectors from the engine
8. Be careful not to drop anything into the engine
Before reinstalling the injectors, you must clean them thoroughly. You can do this by using a soft cloth and some injector cleaner.
- Ensure all fuel pipe seals and copper washers have been replaced prior to reinstallation of the injectors.
- Do not over-tighten the injector pipes into the injectors (this can cause the injector to leak)
- Tighten the injector bolts to 27 Nm
