1. Open the hood of your Renault Trafic.
- Pull the hood release lever located under the dashboard on the driver's side.
- Lift the hood and use the prop rod to keep it open.
2. Locate the air cleaner box.
- It is usually a black plastic box located on the top of the engine, just behind the front tires.
- There will be a large hose attached to the air cleaner box.
3. Remove the air cleaner box cover.
- There are usually two clips or screws that hold the cover in place.
- Once you have removed the clips or screws, lift the cover off the air cleaner box.
4. Remove the old air filter.
- The air filter is a rectangular piece of paper or foam located inside the air cleaner box.
- Carefully remove the old air filter by pulling it out of the air cleaner box.
5. Install the new air filter.
- Make sure that the new air filter is the same size and shape as the old filter.
- Insert the new air filter into the air cleaner box, making sure that it is seated properly.
6. Replace the air cleaner box cover.
- Replace the air cleaner box cover and secure it with the clips or screws.
7. Close the hood of your Renault Trafic.
