1. Park your car in a safe, level area. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down completely.
2. Open the hood of the car.
3. Locate the blower motor housing, which is usually located on the passenger side of the engine compartment. It is a black plastic housing with a fan blade visible inside.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor.
5. Remove the mounting screws that hold the blower motor in place.
6. Gently pull the blower motor out of the housing.
7. Inspect the blower motor for damage or debris. If the motor is damaged, replace it with a new one.
8. Reinstall the blower motor in the reverse order of removal.
9. Reconnect the electrical connector to the blower motor.
10. Close the hood of the car.
