1. Open the hood of your Renault Laguna.
2. Locate the air filter box. It is usually a black plastic box located on the left side of the engine compartment.
3. Remove the air filter box by unclipping the fasteners that hold it in place.
4. Once the air filter box is removed, you will see the heater resistor. It is a small, rectangular, black plastic box with multiple wires connected to it.
5. Disconnect the wires from the heater resistor by pressing down on the small tabs on the connectors and pulling the connectors off of the resistor.
6. Remove the heater resistor by unbolting it from the mounting bracket.
7. Install the new heater resistor by following the steps in reverse order.
