• At the head’s right rear corner (driver’s side)
• Held by two 13 mm bolts
• The thermostat housing can be removed separately; the gasket that seals the thermostat may stick on the thermostat or housing and must be removed carefully.
• Note that the thermostat is held in the housing against the water pump by a spring clamp. Be cautious; the spring is under tension and can spring forcefully outward if mishandled.
