Instructions:

3. Locate the Mounting Holes:
Underneath the rear of your Jeep Cherokee, locate the pre-drilled mounting holes for the trailer hitch receiver. These holes are usually located on the vehicle's frame.
4. Install the Hitch Receiver:
Position the trailer hitch receiver over the mounting holes. Align the holes on the hitch receiver with the mounting holes on your Jeep's frame.
5. Secure the Hitch Receiver:
Insert the provided hitch bolts into the mounting holes. Hand-tighten the bolts until they are snug.
6. Level the Hitch Receiver:
Use a level to ensure that the hitch receiver is level. Adjust the positioning of the hitch receiver as needed to achieve a level installation.
7. Tighten the Hitch Bolts:
Use a torque wrench to tighten the hitch bolts to the specified torque value provided in the hitch receiver's installation instructions.
8. Install the Hitch Pin and Clip:
Insert the hitch pin through the hole on the hitch receiver and the hole on the vehicle's frame. Secure the hitch pin with the provided clip.
9. Verify Installation:
Double-check that all bolts and the hitch pin are secure. Ensure the trailer hitch receiver is properly installed and leveled.
10. Test the Hitch Receiver:
Before towing a trailer, test the hitch receiver by attaching a compatible trailer and verifying that it is securely connected.
