1. Park the bike on a level surface.
2. Turn off the engine.
3. Wait a few minutes for the engine to cool down.
4. Remove the oil dipstick from the right side of the engine, near the front of the bike.
5. Wipe the dipstick clean with a clean cloth.
6. Reinsert the dipstick into the engine until it is fully seated.
7. Pull the dipstick out and check the oil level.
8. The oil level should be between the "min" and "max" marks on the dipstick.
9. If the oil level is low, add the appropriate amount of transmission oil.
10. Reinsert the dipstick and check the oil level again.
11. Replace the oil dipstick.
