1. Oil pump housing
2. Oil pump cover
3. Oil pump gear
4. Oil pump shaft
5. Oil pressure relief valve
6. Oil pressure relief spring
7. Oil pump gasket
8. Oil pump seal
Assembly Instructions
1. Install the oil pump seal in the oil pump housing.
2. Install the oil pump gear on the oil pump shaft.
3. Install the oil pump shaft in the oil pump housing.
4. Install the oil pressure relief valve in the oil pump cover.
5. Install the oil pressure relief spring in the oil pump cover.
6. Install the oil pump gasket on the oil pump cover.
7. Install the oil pump cover on the oil pump housing.
8. Tighten the oil pump cover bolts to the specified torque.
Note:
- Be sure to use a new oil pump gasket when assembling the oil pump.
- The oil pressure relief valve should be set to the specified pressure for your engine.
- The oil pump gear must be installed in the correct orientation. The teeth of the gear should mesh with the teeth of the camshaft gear.
