Check the battery. Make sure the battery is properly connected and has enough power. If the battery is weak, it may not be able to provide enough power to start the engine.
Check the spark plug. Make sure the spark plug is properly seated and in good condition. If the spark plug is worn or damaged, it may not be able to create a spark, which will prevent the engine from starting.
Check the fuel system. Make sure there is enough fuel in the tank and that the fuel lines are not clogged. If the fuel lines are clogged, fuel will not be able to reach the engine and it will not be able to start.
Check the air filter. Make sure the air filter is clean and not clogged. If the air filter is clogged, it will restrict airflow to the engine and it will not be able to start.
Check the oil level. Make sure the oil level is full. If the oil level is low, it can cause the engine to overheat and it will not be able to start.
Check the safety switches. Make sure all of the safety switches are properly engaged. If a safety switch is not engaged, it will prevent the engine from starting.
If you have checked all of these things and the mower still will not start, you may need to take it to a qualified repair shop.
