Can you interchange 1982 honda nighthawk 450 gas tank for 650 tank?

The 1982 Honda Nighthawk 450 and 650 models have different fuel tank sizes and mounting points. The 450 has a 3.2-gallon tank, while the 650 has a 4.2-gallon tank. Additionally, the 450's tank is mounted to the frame using two bolts at the front and two bolts at the back, while the 650's tank is mounted to the frame using four bolts at the front and two bolts at the back. Therefore, it is not possible to interchange the fuel tanks between these two models without some modification.
