Instructions
1. Start by removing the old stator cover. This is typically located on the left side of your Timberwolf. Remove the bolts holding the cover in place and carefully pry it off. Be careful not to damage the gasket.
2. Remove the old stator. The stator is located inside the stator cover. It is held in place by several bolts. Remove these bolts and carefully remove the stator. Be careful not to drop the stator.
3. Disconnect the stator wires from the wiring harness. The stator wires are typically color-coded. Make sure to remember where each wire goes.
4. Prepare the new stator for installation. The new stator may come with a new gasket. If not, you will need to purchase a new one. Apply a thin layer of sealant to the new gasket and place it in the stator cover.
5. Install the new stator. Carefully place the stator into the stator cover. Make sure that the stator is seated properly and that the gasket is in place. Bolt the stator in place using the bolts removed in step 2.
6. Connect the stator wires to the wiring harness. Use the diagram you made in step 3 to connect the wires correctly.
7. Solder the stator wires to the wiring harness. This will help to ensure a good connection.
8. Cover the soldered connections with electrical tape to prevent them from shorting out.
9. Reinstall the stator cover. Replace the bolts removed to install the stator and reconnect the stator wires.
10. Start your Timberwolf and check that the stator is working properly. The stator is responsible for generating the electricity that powers your Timberwolf's ignition and lights. If the stator is not working properly, your Timberwolf will not start or run properly.
