1. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it clockwise to the "On" position. The green neutral indicator light should illuminate.
2. Pull in the clutch lever with your left hand.
3. Press the starter button with your right thumb. The engine will crank and start.
4. Release the starter button once the engine has started.
5. Allow the engine to warm up for a few minutes before riding.
