1. Gather the necessary tools and materials:
- Replacement kick start turn crank
- Socket wrench set
-New kick starter gear/shaft (if necessary)
- Pliers
- Screwdriver
- Allen wrench set
2. Locate the kick start turn crank:
- The kick start turn crank is usually located on the right side of the four-wheeler, near the footpeg.
3. Remove the old kick start turn crank:
- Use a socket wrench to loosen and remove the bolts that hold the kick start turn crank in place.
- Be careful not to drop the bolts.
- Slide the old kick start turn crank off of the shaft.
4. Inspect the shaft and gear:
- Check the kick starter gear/shaft for any damage or wear.
- If the gear or shaft is damaged, replace it with a new one.
5. Install the new kick start turn crank:
- Slide the new kick start turn crank onto the shaft.
- Align the holes in the turn crank with the holes in the mounting bracket.
6. Fasten the kick start turn crank:
- Use a socket wrench to tighten the bolts that hold the kick start turn crank in place.
- Make sure the bolts are snug.
7. Test the kick start:
- Try to kick start the four-wheeler to make sure the new turn crank is working properly.
