This measurement is taken from the top of the float to the bottom of the float bowl gasket surface, with the float needle just touching the seat.
To adjust the float height, loosen the locknut on the float needle and turn the needle in or out until the desired height is achieved. Be sure to tighten the locknut securely once the adjustment is made.
