1. Park the motorcycle on a level surface.
2. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.
3. Open the seat of the motorcycle to access the oil filler cap.
4. Locate the oil dipstick, which is usually attached to the oil filler cap or near the oil fill port.
5. Remove the dipstick and wipe it clean with a clean cloth or paper towel.
6. Reinsert the dipstick into the oil fill port until it is fully seated.
7. Remove the dipstick again and check the oil level. The oil level should be between the "full" and "add" marks on the dipstick.
8. If the oil level is low, add the appropriate amount of oil to bring the level back up to the full mark.
9. Reinstall the dipstick and oil filler cap.
