1. Park the Yamaha Wolverine 4X4 on level ground and turn off the engine.
2. Open the hood by pulling up on the release lever located in the center of the handlebar.
3. Locate the battery, which is situated on the left side of the engine compartment.
4. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery by loosening the bolt with a 10 mm wrench.
5. Disconnect the positive cable from the battery by loosening the bolt with a 10 mm wrench.
6. Remove the battery by lifting it straight up out of the battery compartment.
7. Reinstall the new battery by placing it in the battery compartment and connecting the positive cable followed by the negative cable.
8. Tighten the bolts on both cables securely with a 10 mm wrench.
9. Close the hood and latch securely.
