1. Gather your tools and materials.
* New coolant (Yamalube or equivalent)
* Funnel
* Pliers
* Screwdriver
* Bucket
2. Prepare the ATV.
* Park the ATV on a level surface with the engine off.
* Allow the engine to cool down completely.
* Remove the radiator cap.
3. Drain the old coolant.
* Place a bucket under the water pump drain plug (a bolt located at the bottom of the water pump).
* Using a screwdriver or pliers, loosen the drain plug and allow the old coolant to drain into the bucket.
* Once the old coolant has drained out, replace the drain plug.
4. Flush the cooling system.
* Fill the radiator with water until it reaches the brim.
* Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
* Drain the water from the radiator.
* Repeat steps 4 and 5 until the water runs clear.
5. Add new coolant.
* Fill the radiator with new coolant until it reaches the brim.
* Replace the radiator cap.
* Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to circulate the new coolant.
* Check the coolant level and add more coolant if necessary.
6. Check for leaks.
* Inspect the cooling system for any leaks. Tighten any loose connections if necessary.
Your Grizzly 600 ATV's coolant has now been successfully changed.
