Why the TMX 155 hard to start?

The TMX 155 is a popular motorcycle in the Philippines, but it is notorious for being hard to start, especially when the engine is cold. There are a few reasons why this might be the case:

1. The carburetor may be clogged. The carburetor is responsible for mixing fuel with air and sending it to the engine. If the carburetor is clogged, it will not be able to send enough fuel to the engine, which will cause it to run lean and misfire.

2. The spark plug may be fouled. The spark plug is responsible for creating a spark that ignites the fuel in the engine. If the spark plug is fouled, it will not be able to create a strong enough spark, which will cause the engine to misfire.

3. The air filter may be dirty. The air filter prevents dust and dirt from entering the engine. If the air filter is dirty, it will restrict the flow of air into the engine, which will cause it to run lean and misfire.

4. The battery may be weak. The battery provides the electrical power needed to start the engine. If the battery is weak, it will not be able to provide enough power to start the engine, especially when the engine is cold.

5. The engine may be flooded. If the engine is flooded, there is too much fuel in the combustion chamber and not enough air. This will cause the engine to misfire and will make it hard to start.

If you are having trouble starting your TMX 155, you should first check the carburetor, spark plug, air filter, and battery. If any of these components are damaged or dirty, you should replace or clean them. If the engine is still hard to start, you should take it to a qualified mechanic for diagnosis.
