How do clean oil out of lawn mower gas tube?

Disconnect the spark plug wire. This is a safety precaution to prevent the lawn mower from starting while you are working on it.

Locate the gas tube. The gas tube is a small, flexible hose that connects the fuel tank to the carburetor. It is usually located near the base of the lawn mower engine.

Disconnect the gas tube from the carburetor. Use a wrench to loosen the clamp that holds the gas tube in place. Be careful not to spill any gas.

Empty the gas tube. Hold the gas tube over a container and drain the gas out of it.

Clean the gas tube. Use a cloth dampened with carburetor cleaner to clean the inside of the gas tube. Be sure to remove all of the dirt and debris.

Reconnect the gas tube. Attach the gas tube to the carburetor and tighten the clamp.

Reconnect the spark plug wire.

Start the lawn mower. The lawn mower should start up and run normally.
