1. Park your car safely: Find a safe spot to park your car, ideally away from traffic and pedestrians.
2. Turn off the engine: Make sure the engine is off and the car is in park.
3. Locate the gas tank flap: This is usually on the driver's side of the car, but it could be on the passenger side depending on the model. It should have a small lever or button to release the flap.
4. Open the gas tank flap: Push or pull the lever/button to open the flap and reveal the gas tank opening.
5. Insert the gas nozzle: Gently insert the nozzle of the gas pump into the opening.
6. Fuel up: Hold the gas nozzle securely and start fueling the car. You'll hear a click when the tank is full.
7. Remove the nozzle: Once the tank is full, gently remove the nozzle.
8. Close the gas tank flap: Securely close the gas tank flap.
9. Pay for your gas: Proceed to pay for the gas at the pump.
Important Note: Always be careful when handling gasoline and avoid spilling it. If you do spill any, clean it up immediately.
