The oil drain plug on a 2002 Ford Mustang V6 is located on the
bottom of the oil pan, which is the lowest part of the engine's oil sump. To be more precise, it's on the
driver's side (left side) of the engine block, near the front. You'll need to get under the car to access it.
It's a standard bolt-type drain plug. Be sure to have an oil drain pan underneath to catch the oil when you remove it.
