Where is number 7 spark plug on a 5.7 engine for 1996 suburban?

A 1996 Chevy Suburban 5.7L (small-block V8) uses a standard firing order of 1-8-7-2-6-5-4-3. Because of the V-shape of the engine, locating the spark plugs isn't simply sequential left-to-right.

To find #7, you need to look at the passenger side (right side) of the engine, relatively towards the rear of the engine. It will be close to the firewall.

Important Note: Always double-check your specific engine's layout using a reliable diagram specific to your year and model Suburban. A service manual or a reputable online resource with diagrams is highly recommended before attempting any work on your spark plugs. Misidentifying the spark plug location could lead to engine damage.
