Why would you not be able to switch from the rear front gas tank on a Ford F-150?

Ford F-150s don't have a "rear front" gas tank. They have either a single tank, typically located in the rear, or, in some models, a dual tank setup with both tanks in the rear. There's no front tank. Therefore, switching between a non-existent "rear front" tank is impossible.
