If an 2.3 engine the firing order is 1342 where 1 located?

Without knowing the engine's configuration (inline, V, etc.) and the numbering system used for the cylinders, it's impossible to say precisely where cylinder #1 is located on a 2.3L engine with a 1-3-4-2 firing order. The firing order only tells you the sequence of combustion, not the physical location of the cylinders.
