Where is the oil sending unit on 1996 ford explorer 5.0?

On a 1996 Ford Explorer 5.0L, the oil pressure sending unit is located on the passenger side of the engine block, near the front of the engine. It's a relatively small unit and might be difficult to see without some maneuvering. You'll likely need to look carefully along the side of the engine block, near where the oil filter is located. A socket wrench will be needed to remove it.
