The speed sensor on a 1998 Ford Windstar Limited is located within the transmission. It's not easily accessible without removing the transmission or at least dropping the transmission pan. It's *not* on the differential or driveshaft like some other vehicles. Because of its location, replacement usually requires a mechanic familiar with transmissions.
