A 355 cubic inch engine is generally a 350 cubic inch engine that has been bored out and has a slightly larger stroke. While a 350 can be bored to 355, it's not simply boring out a 350. The increase in cubic inches also comes from a longer stroke crankshaft. Simply boring a 350 won't get you to 355ci.
