What goes in the radiator water or coolant 99 Dodge Durango?

The 1999 Dodge Durango's cooling system requires a 50/50 mixture of coolant and distilled water. Using only water or only coolant is not recommended.

Crucially: It should be a coolant specifically designed for aluminum engines. Many coolants are compatible, but some older formulations can be corrosive to aluminum. Look for a coolant that meets or exceeds the specifications for your vehicle. Your owner's manual might specify a particular type.

Do not use tap water. Tap water contains minerals that can build up and damage your cooling system over time. Distilled water is essential.
