Where are the coils located on a ford F150 5.4 liter engine?
The 5.4L Triton V8 engine in the Ford F-150 has two ignition coil packs. They're located on top of the engine, one on each cylinder head (one for the driver's side bank of cylinders and one for the passenger side bank). They're fairly easy to spot; they're relatively large rectangular or square-shaped components with multiple ignition coil wires leading to the spark plugs.
