On a 2004 Dodge Stratus 2.4L DOHC, the crankshaft position sensor (CKP sensor) is typically located on the
bottom of the engine block, near the
transmission bellhousing. It's often near the crankshaft pulley, but not directly on it. You'll likely need to get under the car to see it clearly.
Because of the engine's design and potential variations, you'll want to consult a repair manual specific to your year and model Stratus. A picture in the manual will definitively show you its location. Generic diagrams can be misleading.
