- Flathead screwdriver
- New S40 cabin air filter (Volvo Part Number 8601221)
Instructions
1. Open the glove compartment.
2. Squeeze the left and right sides of the glove compartment to release it from the dash and remove it from the car.
3. Locate the three Phillips screws on the top of the cabin filter housing.
4. Remove the three Phillips screws and remove the cabin filter housing cover.
5. Remove the old cabin filter from the housing.
6. Install the new cabin filter into the housing.
7. Replace the cabin filter housing cover and secure it with the three Phillips screws that were removed in Step 3.
8. Re-attach the glove compartment to the dash and close the compartment.
