How are the cylinders numbered on a 1992 dodge ram van 5.2L?

The 5.2L V8 engine in a 1992 Dodge Ram van uses a standard American V8 firing order and cylinder numbering. Looking at the engine from the front (radiator side):

* Passenger side (right): Cylinders 1, 3, 5, 7

* Driver side (left): Cylinders 2, 4, 6, 8

The cylinders are numbered sequentially from the front of the engine to the rear, alternating sides. So, cylinder 1 is the front passenger side, cylinder 2 is the front driver side, and so on.
