How do you reset the fuel on a 1986 ford bronco 2?

The 1986 Ford Bronco II doesn't have a trip odometer that resets fuel economy calculations like modern cars. There's no button or switch to "reset the fuel." It doesn't keep track of fuel consumption in that way.

To track fuel economy, you'll need to:

1. Fill your tank completely. Record the odometer reading.

2. Drive until your tank is nearly empty.

3. Fill your tank again completely. Record the amount of fuel added (in gallons) and the new odometer reading.

4. Calculate your fuel economy: Subtract the first odometer reading from the second. Divide the difference (miles driven) by the number of gallons added. The result is your miles per gallon (mpg).

There's no electronic reset involved. You have to manually track the data.
