[Image of the serpentine belt diagram]
As you can see from the diagram, the serpentine belt runs around the following components:
- Crankshaft pulley
- Water pump pulley
- Alternator pulley
- Air conditioning compressor pulley
- Power steering pump pulley
- Idler pulley
The tensioner pulley is located on the back side of the engine, near the top.
To replace the serpentine belt, you will need to:
1. Loosen the tensioner pulley.
2. Remove the old belt.
3. Install the new belt.
4. Tighten the tensioner pulley.
It is important to make sure that the new belt is installed correctly, as an incorrect installation can cause damage to the engine.
If you are not comfortable replacing the serpentine belt yourself, you can have it done by a qualified mechanic.
