1. Open the hood of your vehicle and locate the battery. The battery is located in the trunk of the vehicle on the driver's side.
2. Remove the negative battery terminal cable. This will disconnect the power to the starter.
3. Locate the starter. The starter is located on the driver's side of the engine, near the bottom. It is a cylindrical-shaped object with two electrical terminals.
4. Remove the two bolts that hold the starter in place. These bolts are located on the top and bottom of the starter.
