1. Gather your tools and materials. You will need:
- A new oil pump
- A new oil pump gasket
- A new oil filter
-A 32 mm socket
- A 13 mm socket
- A 10 mm socket
- A 5 mm Allen wrench
- A screwdriver
- A hammer
- A chisel
- A drain pan
- Safety goggles
- Gloves
2. Disconnect the battery. This will prevent the car from starting while you are working on it.
3. Drain the oil. Place the drain pan under the oil pan and remove the drain plug. Allow the oil to drain completely.
4. Remove the oil pan. Remove the bolts that hold the oil pan in place and carefully remove the oil pan. Be careful not to spill any oil.
5. Remove the oil pump. Remove the bolts that hold the oil pump in place and carefully remove the oil pump.
6. Install the new oil pump gasket. Place the new oil pump gasket on the oil pump and carefully install the oil pump. Tighten the bolts that hold the oil pump in place.
7. Install the new oil pan. Carefully place the oil pan in position and install the bolts that hold the oil pan in place. Tighten the bolts until they are snug.
8. Add new oil. Add the recommended amount of new oil to the engine.
9. Disconnect the battery. Reconnect the battery.
10. Start the engine and check for leaks. Start the engine and allow it to run for a few minutes. Check for any leaks from the oil pump or oil pan. If you see any leaks, tighten the bolts until the leaks stop.
