Where is the crank angle sensor on a Mazda miata and how hard it to replace?

The crank angle sensor on a Mazda Miata is located on the front of the engine, near the oil filter. It is a small, cylindrical sensor with a single wire connector. To replace the crank angle sensor, you will need to:

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the air intake hose.

3. Remove the oil filter.

4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the crank angle sensor.

5. Remove the bolt that holds the crank angle sensor in place.

6. Pull the crank angle sensor out of the engine.

7. Install the new crank angle sensor in reverse order of removal.

The entire process should take about 30 minutes.
