1. Locate the brake fluid reservoir. It is usually a translucent plastic container with a black cap labeled "Brake Fluid." It is located in the engine bay, near the master cylinder.
2. Remove the cap from the brake fluid reservoir.
3. Add enough brake fluid to bring the level up to the "Full" mark on the reservoir.
4. Replace the cap on the brake fluid reservoir.
When adding brake fluid, it's important to use only DOT 3 or DOT 4 brake fluid, as specified in the owner's manual. DOT 5 brake fluid is not compatible with Ford vehicles and should not be used.
Also, avoid overfilling the brake fluid reservoir, as this can cause brake problems. If the brake fluid level is too high, it can cause the brakes to drag or lock up.
