1. Open the hood of your truck and locate the thermostat housing. The thermostat housing is located on the front of the engine, just below the upper radiator hose.
2. Remove the two bolts that hold the thermostat housing cover in place.
3. Remove the thermostat housing cover and the old thermostat.
4. Install the new thermostat and the thermostat housing cover.
5. Replace the two bolts that hold the thermostat housing cover in place.
Tips
* Make sure that you have the correct thermostat for your engine.
* Be careful not to drop the thermostat into the engine.
* If you are replacing the thermostat yourself, be sure to follow the instructions in your vehicle's owner's manual.
