1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
2. If necessary, raise the vehicle using a jack and support it on jack stands.
3. Locate the gearbox drain plug. It is usually located on the bottom of the gearbox, near the back. It is typically a 17mm bolt.
4. Place an oil pan under the drain plug to catch the old oil.
5. Use a wrench to loosen the drain plug and allow the old oil to drain out.
6. Once the old oil has drained out, replace the drain plug and tighten it securely.
7. Lower the vehicle (if necessary) and dispose of the old oil properly.
