How to Remove and Replace the Mercedes Benz A Class Alternator

1. Park the vehicle in a safe location, making sure that the parking brake is engaged.

2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. This will help to prevent any electrical shocks while you are working on the car.

4. Locate the alternator. It is usually a black or silver metal casing with a large pulley on the front.
