- 1x 1/4" brass lock washer
- 2x M3x10mm screws
- 2x M3x12mm screws
- 2x M3 nuts
Instructions:
1. 3D print the turbine housing, compressor housing, impeller, and compressor wheel.
2. Assemble the turbocharger by following the steps in the diagram below.
3. Connect the 12V DC motor to the turbocharger using the 1/8" brass tube and elbow.
4. Connect the 1/4" brass nipple to the compressor housing.
5. Connect the 1/4" brass tee to the nipple.
6. Connect the 1/4" brass couplings to the tee.
7. Connect the 1/4" brass plug to one of the couplings.
8. Connect the 1/4" brass hex nut, washer, and lock washer to the other coupling.
9. Screw the M3x10mm screws into the turbine housing and compressor housing.
10. Screw the M3x12mm screws into the M3 nuts and then screw the nuts into the motor mount.
Tips:
- Use a high-quality 3D printer to get the best results.
- Make sure the turbocharger is properly assembled before running it.
- Do not run the turbocharger at high speeds for extended periods of time.
- The turbocharger can be used to boost the power of any RC car with a gasoline engine.
