1. Find the positive (+) terminal on your car's battery. It is usually marked with a "+" sign and may have a red cover or cap.
2. Connect one end of the jumper cable to the positive (+) terminal on your battery. Clamp the other end to the positive (+) terminal on the donor vehicle's battery.
3. Find the negative (-) terminal on your car's battery. It is usually marked with a "-" sign and may have a black cover or cap. Connect the other end of the jumper cable to the negative (-) terminal on the donor vehicle's battery.
4. Make sure that the jumper cables are not touching each other.
5. Start the donor vehicle. Let it run for a few minutes to charge your car's battery.
6. Try to start your car. If it starts, let it run for a few minutes to charge the battery further.
7. Disconnect the jumper cables in the reverse order that you connected them.
Here are some additional tips for jump-starting a Citroen relay:
- If your car has a diesel engine, you may need to crank it for longer than a gasoline engine.
- If you are unable to start your car after several attempts, you may need to have your battery checked or replaced.
