1. Park your vehicle on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
2. Open the trunk of your vehicle.
3. Locate the tail light assembly on the side of the vehicle where the brake light bulb needs to be replaced.
4. Remove the two screws that hold the tail light assembly in place.
5. Carefully pull the tail light assembly out from the vehicle.
6. Locate the brake light bulb within the tail light assembly. It will usually be a red or amber bulb.
7. Twist the brake light bulb counterclockwise to remove it from the socket.
8. Insert the new brake light bulb into the socket and turn it clockwise until it is secure.
9. Reinstall the tail light assembly by inserting it into the vehicle and replacing the two screws.
10. Test the brake light to ensure that it is working properly.
