1. Open the bonnet of the car.
2. Locate the gearbox, which is the large metal housing at the front of the engine.
3. Look for the speed sensor, which is a small black cylindrical object with a wire coming out of it.
4. The speed sensor is usually located on the top of the gearbox, towards the front of the car.
5. You may need to remove the battery or other components to access the speed sensor.
6. Once you have located the speed sensor, disconnect the wire from it.
7. Use a wrench to loosen the bolt that holds the speed sensor in place.
8. Remove the speed sensor from the gearbox.
9. Install the new speed sensor in reverse order.
