The fuse box for a 1987 BMW 325 is located in the engine compartment, on the passenger side. It is a black plastic box with a lid that can be opened by hand.
Fuse Diagram
The fuse box contains a number of fuses, each of which is responsible for a specific electrical component in the car. The fuse diagram is located on the inside of the fuse box lid, and it shows which fuse is responsible for each component.
Fuse Removal
To remove a fuse, you will need to use a fuse puller. A fuse puller is a small tool that can be purchased at any auto parts store. To use a fuse puller, simply insert the tips of the tool into the metal contacts on the top and bottom of the fuse, and then pull the fuse straight out of the fuse box.
Fuse Replacement
To replace a fuse, simply insert the new fuse into the fuse box in the same orientation as the old fuse. Make sure that the new fuse is the same amperage as the old fuse. If you are not sure what amperage fuse to use, you can consult the fuse diagram on the inside of the fuse box lid.
