Where is egr valve in astra 1.6?
The EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) valve in an Astra 1.6 petrol engine can be found on the left side of the engine block at the rear. It is connected to a pipe that runs back to the exhaust manifold and is usually held in place by two torx screws. The EGR valve is used to help reduce the production of nitrogen oxide (NOx) gas by redirecting a controlled amount of exhaust gas into the combustion chambers of the engine.
