- Begin by turning off the vehicle and removing the key from the ignition.
- Open the hood of your Opel Vectra.
- Locate the negative terminal of the battery, which is usually marked with a minus (-) sign.
- Use a wrench to loosen and remove the nut that connects the negative battery cable to the terminal.
Step 2: Waiting period
- After disconnecting the battery, wait at least 30 minutes. This allows the engine immobilizer system to power down and reset completely.
Step 3: Reconnect the battery
