- Loosen and remove the camshaft cover bolts with a wrench or socket set.
- Remove the camshaft cover from the engine block.
2. Remove the camshaft sprocket bolt.
- Use the flywheel holder to prevent the crankshaft from turning.
- Loosen the camshaft sprocket bolt with a wrench or socket set.
- Remove the camshaft sprocket bolt.
- Be cautious not to drop the washer between the camshaft sprocket and the camshaft.
3. Remove the camshaft sprocket.
- Use a camshaft sprocket puller to remove the camshaft sprocket from the camshaft.
4. Align the camshaft timing marks.
- Turn the crankshaft until the "T" mark on the flywheel aligns with the index mark on the engine block.
- The "IN" mark on the camshaft sprocket should align with the index mark on the camshaft cover.
5. Install the camshaft sprocket.
- Place the camshaft sprocket onto the camshaft, aligning the timing marks.
- Install the camshaft sprocket bolt and tighten it to the specified torque.
6. Install the camshaft cover.
- Place the camshaft cover back in place and secure it to the engine block with the camshaft cover bolts. Tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
